Dogs have physical and mental needs similar to that of humans.  If left alone too long a pet can develop anxiety or exacerbate symptoms of anxiety and stress which can cause behavior issues.  If unaddressed these behavior issues can become habits that can increase in severity over time leading to reactivity and even aggression.  This aggression may be directed at other pets, children, owners, strangers and/or material items such as shoes, couches and more.  To mitigate the risks it is our responsibility as good dog owners to ensure that our pets get plenty of physical activity and healthy mental stimulation.

As owners who want to give our pets happy lives as well as maintain or improve our own quality of life we have to work.  Somtimes we even like to go off and play ourselves on a relaxing vacation. Work and travel can sometimes take us away from our pets.  This is where Furtenity House steps in to help. You can drop your pet off for a day (or 5) while you're at work or even leave them for some ovenight boarding while you're at play.  You can rest assured that Daycare will be full of free play, including individual or shared fetch time if suitable and structured play like puzzles and training practices.  keeping your furfriend active and stimulated for a balanced mind and body.
